Kokav Nolad is the American Idol version in Israel. Since it started 5 or 6 years ago, I must say that I have done a consistent follow-up. Among the best I have seen was Ninet (the phenomenal star), Shiri, Jacko, Marina and the newest winner, Israel Bar-On. Considering his husky, cool voice, he could be the next Shlomo Atzi of Israel. I heard Artzi sing many times and the similarity with regards to voice quality is quite amazing and astounding. See for yourself and listen to the video collections I had posted.
