Truly, this girl had captured my heart and I made a collection of all her performances since she started singing on TV. Included here is her life story featured in Maalaala Mo Kaya. Enjoy!
Will this be the end...or a start of a BIG change, only time will tell. Definitely, a choice has been made and let us stand upfront with this man in fighting what we believe is worth living for. HOPE and PEACE in our world!

Kokav Nolad is the American Idol version in Israel. Since it started 5 or 6 years ago, I must say that I have done a consistent follow-up. Among the best I have seen was Ninet (the phenomenal star), Shiri, Jacko, Marina and the newest winner, Israel Bar-On. Considering his husky, cool voice, he could be the next Shlomo Atzi of Israel. I heard Artzi sing many times and the similarity with regards to voice quality is quite amazing and astounding. See for yourself and listen to the video collections I had posted.

ScrapAlbum making is actually coined from the word scrapbooking, which in the word itself means making a scrapbook. This is an art of organizing a collection of clippings, notes, pictures, poetry, quotations, stories and other things, presented in the most unique way. Many people make keepsakes of family history, photo album of children and personal journals out of these.
When I was small, I remember I used to spend hours cutting small letters and beautiful photos from newspapers and magazines and paste them afterwards in a parchment paper and bind them together with a metal fastener. This is the hobby that I think I haven't outgrown yet and I am still a scrapbooking enthusiast until now.
Definitely, those who share the same passion like me will enjoy using Scrapblog. This is a multimedia program which helps you create a scrapalbum with the use of a bunch of creative elements. The latest was that they have integrated this application to Photobucket, which makes album making quite easier.
Take a look at one of the creations I have made with this program. The photos were actually taken in a garden exhibition at Century Park in Shanghai in 2006. It was a Mosaiculture show that lasted more than a month. About 1/2 of the displays where made by Chinese, and 1/2 by other people from around the world.
Don't hesitate to explore your creativeness with this application because the program is very user-friendly. For those who needs tutorials, please do watch the videos provided.
ENJOY!

Gymnastics is one of the most favorite events in the Olympics wherein young women compete on the balance beam, vault, floor exercises, and uneven parallel bars. Unlike in the men's division of this field where power and strength are measured, women in the artistic gymnastics are judged on grace and movement. Technically that is the principle but literally and realistically speaking, the focus of this game is to be able to jump higher than your competitors and still land gracefully on the floor/beam.
In history, there are three great women gymnasts that had been a pioneer and outstanding in their performances. One was Olga Korbut (1972), a 17-year-old gymnast from the Soviet Union, who captivated everyone with her backward somersault off the uneven parallel bars, the Korbut Salto and the Korbut Flip, which she and her coaches invented. The second one was Romania's Nadia Comaneci (1976), becoming the first gymnast in Olympic history to earn perfect scores. Not only did she become the first gymnast at the Olympics Games to receive the perfect score of ten (a feat she managed seven times), she also won three gold medals; for individual all-around, the beam and the uneven bars; a silver medal in the team all-around, and a bronze for floor exercises. The third was Larissa Latynina (USSR), with 18 Olympic medals. She also holds the joint record for golds, nine, with runners Paavo Nurmi and Carl Lewis and swimmer Mark Spitz. She also won nine world championship gold medals including two in the individual all-around event, in 1958 and 1962.

The long-awaited showdown of gymnasts for the Olympic 2008 gold medal in the individual all-around title had come to it's end. Clinching the title was American Nastia Liukin who had a close and stiff fight over China's Yang Yilin in the floor exercises. Shawn Johnson, also an American took the silver medal.

Cheng Fei (China) may not be far behind the 3 other winners, watch her in this link (click on Highlights by Sports then Gymnastics).
This is the final result of the game:
China Team
There had been an argument that some of the women (girls really) on the Chinese gymnastics team may be underage. Honestly, sometimes looks can be deceiving. You couldn't compare a 16 year old Asian with an American. Asians, for a fact, look younger than their age compared to a Westerner. The argument is, if a 15-year-old gymnast is as good as or better than a 21-year-old, why shouldn't she get to compete?

Please watch one of the incredible performances of the night and ENJOY!
You are jumping out of ecstacy and your face couldn't stop smiling, finally you have hit the trails. Your blog traffic had been making waves and it's all because of your creativity and resourcefullness. You had gained the following you've been dreaming of but it seems that you want more. Everything is not good enough and you've got to hit again the stills over and over and over.
Some god-damned sofware had been released and they call it "CONTENT GENERATORS and REWRITERS". They said it's effective and promises huge REVENUES. Suddenly, your FOCUS is redirected, all because of the promise of a lucrative income. In short...MONEY!
Who wants to think when some small generated software could do it for you, doing work much faster and easier. Forget about creativity, some people just have to fill in the space and get the payback. It seems so easy. Why work hard, life isn't fair sometimes! It's sad to know how DESPERATE we became...money makes the world go round after all!
So they say, it's primetime and the great SEO invention will eventually conquer the web scene. Robots will replace humans and the brain will start to shrink and deteriorate. The argument is, these are robots, they don't have eyes and they have limited brain capacity. Noone can replace the human brain, whose creativity is endless and powerful.
Readers, honestly speaking, want articles with a heart and soul. Powerful and effective articles move people, they INSPIRE, LIFT the SPIRIT and they give LIFE! Is that what you want to achieve? You have the choice...you have to make your stand.

Harry Potter had made it again! Although J. K. Rowling's final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was released last year (July, 2007), the wave of excitement for Harry Potter fanatics is bottling up again. This is due to the upcoming release of the movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, this November.
Personally speaking, Harry Potter and his league brings out the child in me. His adventures simply reminds me of my childhood days when you were made to believe in magic, wizards, ghosts, dragons, sorcerers and witches. Well, let's blame it to the media who's responsible for all the brainwashing, but whose blaming. Those were the good old days after all. We all just want to come back and reminisce the old times.
After reading all the Harry Potter book series, I consider Rowling's sixth of seven novels the best. Forget about the fact that the book sold 9 million copies in the first 24 hours after it was released last 2005. The point is that the book was well written and a masterpiece by itself. If you haven't read this book yet, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, then you've got to catch up by watching the film. Surely, you would enjoy it! You've got to see the trailer to believe me.
Summary of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
And for those who haven't seen one single Harry Potter film (where have you been anyway?), now is the chance to watch them. Please refer to the links below. Downloading may be slow to those with poor bandwidth connection. Patience is the key, my friends!
Happy viewing!

Note:
There is still something to look forward to this 4th of December, this is J.K. Rowling's first major work after retiring the boy wizard last year, The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
The book is a collection of five wizardry-inspired tales all mentioned in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Aside from having it's first commercial publication, proceeds from the sale will go to the Children's High Level Group, Rowling's charity for vulnerable children. We surely would want to contribute to that...all for a good cause and hopefully a worthy collectible book also.

Everyone seems to be searching how to earn MORE money online. And it seems that every company and individual claims that their strategy is the best and effective one. We get confused sometimes with the superflux of informations from all sources in the internet....which one is the REAL one?
Others claim that you'll get MONEY, stability and regular stream of income from Google ADSense. And though many are skeptical, many are affiliating with it. It may sound a gamble, but who knows what luck may it bring to a regular and amateur blogger around us, whose only investment is a computer and maybe an hour to write about some god damned shoes.
Actually, there are hundreds of affiliate programs that are actually capable of helping you attain your goals, that is to earn MONEY ONLINE. SaleHoo is a directory of wholesale products with over 20,000 registered users and over 1000 unique wholesale suppliers. They take care of everything afterwards.
The question is, how do you build the traffic? This is better said than done, right? First, join the affliate program and SIGN UP. Don't be afraid it's FREE! This automaically gives you full free access to all their resources. They offer over 30 different sales pages for you to direct traffic to. Each product has a specific page which is updated every week.

Lea Salonga I believe have upgraded herself from being a local star of Filipino cinema to international stardom. She is now a first class artist whose professionalism and amazing talent is beyond compare. Many local Filipino stars had tried to reach what she had achieved but most of them came back home disappointed. You may call it luck but this woman and artisit is self-made. She didn't made it to the top in a spin of a seconds, but everything what she got was hard earned.
For some (especially for the elitist in the Filipino community) she may be just a cheap That's Entertainment host, but for me she is always a star. I knew way back when she played Annie in the theatre that she would make it BIG. I knew right after she released her first recording, Small Voice (had received golden certification, by the way), at the age of 10, that she would be a famous STAR.
Let me share with you one of my favorites from the play Les Miserables which I have found in UTube. This was the same song she rendered during her audition in Miss Saigon, which obviously had given her the part to play the phenomenal Kim.
Join me in the singing, please!
On My
OWN
I'm all
alone
LOVING ...
I Love Him!
And now Im all alone again
no where to turn no one to go to
Without a home without a friend without a face to say hello to
And now the night is near now I can make believe he's here
Sometimes I walk alone at night when everybody else is sleeping
I think of him and then I'm happy with the company I'm keeping
The city goes to bed
And I can live inside my head
On my own,
Pretending he's beside me,
All alone, I walk with him till morning.
Without him, I feel his arms around me,
And when I lose my way, I close my eyes,
And he has found me...
In the rain,
The pavement shines like silver,
All the lights are misty in the river,
In the darkness the trees are full of starlight,
And all I see is him and me,
Forever and forever...
And I know it's only in my mind,
That I'm talking to myself and not to him,
And although I know that he is blind,
Still I say, there's a way for us...
I love him,
But when the night is over,
He is gone, the river's just a river
Without him the world around me changes,
The trees are bare and everywhere the streets are full of strangers.
I love him,
But everyday I'm learning,
All my life,
I've only been pretending,
Without me,
His world will go on turning,
A world that's full of happiness,
That I have never known...
I love him...
I love him...
I love him...
But only on my own

It's been quite a long time since I've updated this blog and now I'm sort of reconnecting again. At the moment I would say that motherhood had pre-occupied my time and it was very rewarding. It's amazing how my baby, 6 months old, developed in a month. He crawls, sits and stands like an 8 month old baby and I wouldn't be surprised if next month he'll start walking already. I'll have to post his new photos in Shutterfly so all of you could see him and link it back again to my photo gallery.
Finally, I've built a flexible layout for my blog wherein I could integrate all the elements I would like to feature and share with my friends. Thanks to the help of Blogger BusterMaster Amanda, Annie of Blog U and Peter Chen of Blogger Tips and Tricks. Without formal training in html and CSS coding it seems quite impossible to do all the necessary changes. But my patience paid of in the end.
With the help of tutorials, I was able to maximize spaces used in my blog. From the 2 column layout I had once used, I switched to a stretched 3 column layout with a 3 column footer (Annie of Blog U calls it the cellar). Finally, I had decluttered my blog with unnecessary widgets and notes. Visitors now could navigate the site with ease because everything is organized.
These are the following features added in the site:
- Recent Post section (sidebar)
- Shared Items of the author/writer
- Favorite Links
- Twitter notes (thought you might be interested what keeps me busy all the time)
- Navigation menu with links to myprofile, food blog (In My Kitchen), my shop at Zlio and Photo Gallery
- Google chat
At the moment, I am working on an added element, which is the I-Share where I will post the Movies I Watch, Books I Read and Video Tutorials. I just hope Wix, my new web/widget designer discovery, would fix the bug in their software so I could publish soon the features I had mentioned. And by the way, I will post a different article for my review of WIX...do count on that!
So until then again and happy reading!
Introducing Snap Shots from Snap.com
I just installed a nice little tool on this site called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site, interactive excerpts of Wikipedia articles, MySpace profiles, IMDb profiles and Amazon products, display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.
Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you "look ahead," before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.
Should you decide this is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot and opt-out.
Inspired by Annie in BlogU, I did place also an end footer to this blog. My first attempt was unsuccessful but after following the instructions of Google Digital Tips on adding a 3 column footer, my blog was kind of rejuvenated. Now, you could visit the footer at the bottom end of this page and there you will find my shared items (there's a lot to read) and favorite links.
And for those whose been searching for the best recipe procedure for adding an end footer to almost any template you want and have (maybe for a long time already, like me), go and visit Google Digital Tips. Search is over and good luck!
February is the month of love. This is the time to tell and show our love ones how much we care for them (for most of us forget and neglect it the whole year through). It may not be too late to give appreciation to your children, kiss your parents, hold hands with your husband or visit a friend. Take the courage and see how this change could affect your life.
For the married couples, I am sharing with you this poem, The Art of Marriage. Although, there are really no rules to follow to keep a happy married life, this is a very good guide on how to manage your relationships.
THE ART OF MARRIAGE
A good amrriage must be created
In the marriage, the little things are the big things.
It is never too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say "I love you" at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.
It is having mutual sense of values and common objective.
It is standing together and facing the world.
It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family.
It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating
gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is having the capacith to forgive and forget.
It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.
It is common search fo the good and the beautiful.
It is not marrying the right person,
it is being the right partner.
After reading It's been a long time I've been dreaming of creating a MEEZ avatar. This is somewhat different to all the avatars you've seen because it's 3 dimentional and animated.
My creation is no far from the phase where I am in now - motherhood. I just love it and the more I look at it, the more I am amazed. Finally, I am releasing the child in me by opening a new blog that will feature all my avatar creations and collections. It will be named Child At Heart. Once I've finished with it, I'll keep you all posted.
If ever you are interested in creating an avatar for yourself, then visit MEEZ or DOLL PALACE. Enjoy!

MY MEEZ AVATARS
This is the kind of guy every woman would love to bring home to their house to meet Mom and Dad. Josh Hartnett has the naivety and school boy appeal that most young women are dreaming of. Well, I am not young any more but I feel young at heart to fantasize on a guy like him.
I am embedding a film trailer of Scott, entitled, A Life Without Me. He is the husband there of the woman whose trying to make the best of living before she dies. If I'll find the link to watch the whole film, I'll do so in my future posts.
